The “Youths Enterprise Development and Innovation Society (YEDIS)” is a Non-Governmental Organisation that introduces the youths to the world of enterprise and encourages and inspires marginalised young people to pursue their entrepreneurial ambitions and develop the critical business skills that the employer desire.
YEDIS creates an enabling business environment with clear and simple-to-follow rules. Members can work on business plans, innovation and creative idea platforms, business start-up development, advice on business funding, hold meetings, attend workshops and talk to business mentors.
YEDIS enables youth to develop existing business ideas and explore new business start-up avenues. Local business initiatives are encouraged by YEDIS through empowerment and entrepreneurship training to promote community development.
YEDIS provides a range of services and events designed to help underserved youth develop new ideas, find support to make them realistic, set up their enterprises, have exposure to the various source of finances, and provide them with insights into the world of work.
